As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

This is how my morning started, opening the door to find this massive plant outside my door.  My landlord had sent it as a congrats for our new business.  When we arrived at Hulk's, another plant came.  It was from UP Boxing Club but it definitely wasn't greeted with the same shock and massive smiles like the others were.

Walking into our club entrance looks quite like a botanical garden now... a bit too pretty for a boxing club but it's pretty cool that each plant represents a person/company that supports us.  I feel like I should run down the line of them and high five each one of them.
This is how I started my afternoon, with a couple of new members.  We've got some really great members here and I'm convinced someone somewhere is telling people that only the most awesome of people can join our club!!!
And here's my 100% Man, a guy who slapped down a hundred bucks on the counter when I gave King Kong a hard time about only giving me 10% but expecting me to give him 100%.
He started training today and I think I may be responsible for making him puke too.
