I puked, a sure sign that I had pushed
myself beyond my comfort zone and maybe perhaps further than where I should
have taken myself. Regardless, it
happened. After about rounds upon rounds of boxing and non-stop inbetween round weight training, Snickers told me to stand in the middle of the ring for a shot of me under the Hulk's halo. I noted I didn't feel well but shock it off. When I sat down though I really knew I didn't feel good so then I really did have to shake it off -- the puke off of my shirt that is. I had said I wanted to change so I
had to change my routine up. I also upped it a couple of notches on the intensity level. Insanity is doing
the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I don’t want to be a textbook case of
insanity so tonight I gave it my all.
One my members and I have really trying
hard at changing, all my members are but I've really only voiced my personal concerns and stress about it to one particular member. He's kind of morphed into a really close friend. I’m getting him to
work on quitting smoking and he gives me props when I train hard. He’s been wearing his sauna suit lately to
train so tonight I decided to wear mine.
A sauna suit is basically a plastic long sleeve shirt you wear. It keeps your body heat in making you sweat a
lot and keep your heart rate elevated. I
must warn you though, you definitely should make sure you’re hydrated before
using this because it’s going to dehydrate you and leave you light headed if
you don’t and train hard.
I trained hard tonight, oh for sure.
I’m sure tomorrow I won’t be able to walk
down the stairs without looking like I just got off a horse and I’m hoping the
throbbing in my arms will have calmed down.
After a full day of training others and
then going into my own training, I was exhausted. Then we noticed that we had gone through ALL
the club towels so Snickers did the laundry while I started working on cleaning
the windows and updating client files. I
had 60+ some names and numbers to enter in our club cell phone and then I had
about 23 new members I had to work on calculating their body fat percentages
and mapping out weight goals for. Then
of course I had my late night messaging and emailing to do to various members.
Left the club at 2am… with puke still down
the front of my shirt.
