As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Spent a chunk of the day preparing last minute posters to put up at Hulk's which meant we spent a chunk of the day at the printers... Snickers playing on his phone and me drooling over him, hahaha.
Today congrats flowers started arriving.  Usually local businesses and friends send them to say best wishes when a new company opens up.  It's one Korean trend that I definitely love!!!
After an upset with our monkey bars yesterday, today we had to figure out how to take them to a third party  -- a factory to get some minor fixer-upper welding done.  This mean we also had the "fun" of installing them too.
And once they were installed, of course we just had to play on them for a bit... ok, so maybe it was more than just a bit.
Our Hulk tank tops also arrived today... very cool!!!
Then later in the evening Granny Kim arrived in Cheonan.  I just had to get a funny pic with her.  She's such a great sport and she absolutely loved our boxing club.  She said she was proud of us and that meant so much to me.
