As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I Can Rest When I am Dead... Saturday, June 1

Sitting outside of the printer's shop, waiting for them to finish their extra early and overly extended lunch, I ran into so many friends.  Friends passing by in their cars who yelled out at me, friends walking by who stopped to talk, others who scooted by on bikes and blurted out jokes, and one who surprised me with a coffee when she was sipping on hers next door at a coffee shop and spotted me.

Karma is running into all these people but good karma is the fact that all these people are affiliated with my boxing club.  There's Hulk members every where in Cheonan, very cool!!!

Tomorrow we'll be hosting our Grand Opening Party and After Party so today we were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, trying to scramble around and get everything done.  Vacuuming and washing the boxing club floor alone took about two hours and I'll have to do it again tomorrow.  Needless to say it was a very, very exhausting day.

Another busy Saturday -- not exactly a day off but I'm not complaining.  I love it.

It was interesting waking up at Hulk's this morning but it was good in that I literally rolled off the couch and started to work.  A simple slash of water on my face and I was ready to go into full fledge work mode.  This lasted well into the late evening.  When Granny Kim showed up, we decided to start to pack up and call it a day.  WOW Motors President and his son had come in for training but once we were done with them we all left.  Next it was off to Mama Kim's house for a late -- almost midnight -- light meal and then home.

I'm exhausted but am running on pure passion for the dream!!!
