As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Always Something On the Go... Thursday, July 11

Life outside of our boxing club, as if there is really much of it that I concern myself about, there are my four-legged beauties and Gangsta Gotti (my scooter). This weekend it is going to be ALL about them, plus yes some work stuff (of course!!!) and minor extras, starting with tomorrow me taking a crack at fixing up my scooter. Snickers headed out tonight after work, beach-bound with Wonder Boy, leaving me home alone until this Sunday.

Plans for this weekend:

  • Get Gangsta Gotti back on the road.
  • Make more goodies for the juice bar at Hulk's.
  • Shower ALL 3 four-legged pups.
  • Training on Saturday (yes, my day off).
  • Girl Talk -- Coffee Talk with Flipside Fitness, Saturday at 9:30am.
  • Motorcycle racing with the boys.
  • Do a chunk of the writing/prep work for upcoming issue of The Fab Gals Gab.
  • Resume my Korean studies.
  • Schedule my training course enrollment stuff.

Snickers and I have both decided to jump back on the educational bandwagon -- he wants to go to university and I want to get some personal training courses and resume my Korean private tutoring lessons.
