As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Destination: Private Beach with NO ONE!!!

Headed out of town today to a little beach both Snickers and I have labeled "Our Beach".  We've never really been there in the good weather so we didn't know if people populated it but tonight, with our van packed with camping goodies, we took the long detouring drive to it.

We usually keep our one dinner out a week to after work on Sunday but upon finding $129 in my purse, we thought we'd splurge and treat ourselves to some super fresh, ultra delish seafood, after all, as Snickers put it, "it was destiny that we found that money -- it was meant to be!"... hahahaha.
Destiny or not, we definitely enjoyed some freshly picked seafood.  I snapped this pic after our first course of four arrived.  It felt so good to be disconnected from everything that's been consuming us lately and to be able to just enjoy each other's company.
