As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Not-So-Sunny Sunday but Very Beachy

This was the sight I woke up to today -- a beach at my heels and my cutie by my side.
The weather wasn't sunny enough and the water wasn't warm enough for me to bare my barely-there bikini so I stuck to chillaxin' in my tent in my bare necessities.
Then there was the fact that I of course had to get up, get dressed and get out.
The day would start regardless of it I wanted it to or not so we played for a bit in the beach sand and by the shore.
Went in search of some breakfast.  My choices were fish, fish... fish... or more fish.
Thankfully for me, I always carry food on me so the only fish I had today were the clams and shrimp I brought home to cook later.
I had scored with escaping having to pick out any kind of swimming breakfast but the search for any kind of morning coffee was close to impossible.
The day had started out on such a great note and it ended on an equally fabulous one too with the arrival of a former boxercise babe visiting Korea and coming to check out our club.
