As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Beyond Home Life, there's Always Work Life

My patch from WBAN arrived in the mail so I posed for pictures with it for their website/female pro boxer collection, very cool because you know I'm ALL about fierce females and boxing!!!
And of course Snickers is all about joking around at training.  Today he thought it fun to spook our sponsor's two sons with an air pump that has quite the crazy blast on it!!!
This Thursday there's a boxing tournament here in Korea with FOUR female fights on the fighting card -- so very cool.  Snickers wanted to stay home and just watch it on TV but after a rock-scissors-paper match between him via our popscile sticks, looks like we're going to it now!!! He was rock and I was scissors.
The Lovely Lia is back in country and back in Cheonan so tonight we took her out for my favourite meal -- raw beef and veggies.
And ya, we let the guys come along -- Snickers and King Kong.
Then it was a matter of hanging out and sleeping at Hulk's for the night.
