As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Living the Life, Lovin' My Life

This was what my morning consisted of -- an overly smiley, super giddy, ultra cute husband.
My father once told me, "even when you were almost drowning you'd be smiling", and perhaps I suppose this means Snickers is definitely the male version of me.  He crashed during wake boarding but was still so smiley and happy.
It was his first time trying wake boarding but he's such a naturally talented athlete.

... and such a cute one too!!!
He definitely picked up mad wake boarding skills today so I was a proud wife.
The WOW Boys came along so the morning was definitely a silly one.
Leave it to Snickers to toss them into the lake with him for a candid shot... definitely his style.
I should note here that the house in the background -- on the right side -- is that house I fell in love with on our Saturday date.  I am still very much in love with it!
After a full morning of wake boarding, Snickers did a trial run of the new Pro Boxing Class that we're launching tomorrow.  It's an intense class that is very much like my boxercise class and kind of like a tough guy's version of it but with the intentions of doing weekly sparring.
At the end of a very, very, VERY long day -- a very awesome day at that -- just the two of us headed out for a nice late night dinner together and then returned to Mi Gung to play with our four-legged beauties and to kiss them and hug them until we both literally passed out.
