As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Nuts over Nuts

The before and after shot of today's braids for work.
One of my former boxercise babes dropped by the club today with her boyfriend.
And she brought me this -- 4 nut butter from Germany.  At first I was like "ok cool, thanks" but then, once I tried it, I was like "touch and die!!!" to those around me who wanted to try.  To say it's delish would be the understatement of the year.  Seriously, there's probably only two people I'd ever share this with in Korea and one of them is the man I married so please don't ask for anything more than a sniff of it!!!
All my excitement over my new German nut butter exhausted me, ok, so excessive training on my supposedly "day off training" didn't help.  Ended up closing the club an hour early, grabbing some raw beef and veggies at WOW's restuarant and then crashing early.
