There's a fellow foreigner in Korea that really could be anyone of us. Just a few months ago he, name is Sean, was diagnosed with Encephalitis (inflammation of the brain) and his regular life of teaching English and practicing DJing and B-Boying was put on a sudden hold. It's really scary that he really could be anyone of us, that's the reality of it all, but it's been really amazing to see the local community come together and try to help him out. Whether it's the fundraiser at a local coffee shop this week or an online raffle, it's been refreshing to see everyone come together -- really puts your faith back into humanity.
On behalf of Hulk's Boxing, we've donated a one week membership and tank top to the coffee event and a one month membership and tank top to the online raffle. It's really the least we can do and we're happy to do so because people should help out. I learned a long time ago that one person can make a difference, but if we come together and put our strength together, wow, they're be nothing stopping us. So I've decided to post some links about Sean and the efforts to help him because I really think that not only us as fellow foreigners but as people with any sense of compassion should help. I mean, if it were you, wouldn't you want someone to help you out? Exactly.
