As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Catching Up on What I Did... Friday, September 20

Ok, so I've been busy catching up on all my homepage postings that I had typed up on my phone.  It's been a busy week and I'm glad to be returning to my version of "normal life".

Tuesday
1. Closed the club early.
2. Dinner with WOW President.
3. Spontaneous movie date with Snickers -- watched The Conjuring.

Wednesday
1.  Morning meeting with WOW President.
2.  Picked up a friend's car to borrow.
3.  Ditched the car and drove Franky-G (our scooter) to Granny-Kim's house.
4.  Contemplated doing some haunted house venturing.
5.  Went to bed at 10pm.

Thursday
1.  Worst morning wake-up but in typical Chuseok-style; woke up at 6am.
2.  Finally got out of bed at 7am but only after a back massage from Snickers.
3.  Sat through breakfast but didn't eat -- can't stomach meat and spiciness that early in the morning.
4.  Traditional remembrance ceremony for Grandpa-Kim at the house then at his burial tomb.
5.  Took the nieces out for a ride on Franky-G.
6.  Left Granny-Kim's and headed off to see K-Gere.
7.  Visited Mouse Doctor in the hospital.
8.  Visited the Cheonan Jail.
9.  Visited the anticipated future what possibly may become Hulk Smash.
10.  Watched Strong Man Competitions.
11.  Nap time and then dinner at Mama Kim's house.
12.  Went running -- 13.49kms at 5.14min/km.
13.  Scratched the heck out of my rear.

And that leads us up to today... Friday.
1.  Slept in past noon.
2.  Strong Man Competitions, again.
3.  Lunch at Mama Kim's house with my sister's-in-laws and their families.
4.  Dinner date with Snickers... and our four-legged friends.
5.  Spent most of the day being lazy -- recovering from our so-called 'holiday'.
6.  Caught up on laundry and house chores.

... did you notice #12 on Thursday?!  Ya, have resorted to wearing only a t-shirt around the house and constantly applying aloe gel after an embarrassing story while out doing #11... bwahahaha.  It's a hilarious story but none the less very embarrassing.  I'll save it for my good friends and, if they're lucky, I'll even let them show them my scratched up "evidence"... hahahaha.
