As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

My Four-Legged Boy "B" Gets Rave Reviews... Thursday, September 5

Balboa, also known by his fighting name "Dirty Face Balboa", passed today's test with flying colours today and I couldn't have said sorry to him enough for anticipating he'd be a miserable fail if I brought him to Hulk's.  He was absolutely the coolest four-legged friend to work with and he scored mad extra cool points for teaching himself how to excuse himself and go outside when "duty" called.  He used our parking pylon as his peeing post and garden for his poop burial grounds.  Balboa was sweet in greeting members as they arrived and entertained us with a new found love of his -- playing fetch with my handwraps.  Although the day of work together started off on a sour note with him getting so excited on route to Hulk's that he peed on Snickers' seat in the van, it was all up hill from then on.

Pyen Chi may have lost her position at Hulk's today based on the shock and sweetness of Balboa being such a hit with everyone!!!  Tomorrow he'll be returning to work with me and we'll do Free Train Friday, just us two.  I'll have to buy him a t-shirt though because he is quite sensitive to the evening drop in temperature.

Yes, my dog wears clothes and I am not ashamed of it.  You try being from Mexico and then coming here!
I've ordered him an Adidas sweater and an Adidas jacket to keep him warm and in line with our club rules.
Returning back to Mi Gung with Balboa meant being greeted by a somewhat jealous Pyen Chi and overly curious Pacquiao.  The TV remote fell victim to Pyen Chi's jealousy so now I have to schedule for another one to be delivered and setup.

Next week we'll give Pacquiao his chance to work at Hulk's and then make a decision as to who we will "hire".
