As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Well-Being Food Expo

Today we headed out to the Cheonan Well-Being Food Expo and cheers each other to fabulous friends, wicked memories and an abundance of smiles together.
The expo was both an indoor and outdoor event, with lots of free samples to try and delish food to buy for dirt cheap.
We had given ourselves two hours to explore the expo but there was so much to see.
We all agreed that this was by far the coolest -- an egg making machine.
You spritz in some oil, crack open two eggs to throw in it and then five minutes later the egg raises up in pillar form.  Put in two little sticks and viola... eggs on a stick!!!
Am definitely going to buy this machine online for Hulk's!!!
I don't think ice cream is so "well-being", nor is a Turkish man stressing Germany out with teasing her with that cone.  Jokes were on him though when she wouldn't let go.  Now he's got a tub full of Turkish ice cream with a cone smashed at the bottom of it!
Snickers was happy with his strawberry juice find but he wasn't too happy to be eating honey beside the very bees that had just made it.
Leave it to Snickers to jump into a cooking class and start posing for pictures.  And of course who'd want to buy a children's toy?!  Need I really ask.
... and leave it to him to use me as a walking target too... hahaha.
The food expo was really a lot of fun but I definitely give credit to my company for making it so much fun.  The irony of the whole event though was after sampling all that food and exploring it, we then headed out to a local Indian restaurant for lunch.
And then I had my own go at making some food goodies back at Hulk's.
I called this my Open-Faced Popeye Sandwich.
