As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Random Commercial Break of Hottness...

This was the Snickers I first met.  I first saw him at this very fight, out in Incheon.
He was Korea's Super Light Champion and had defended his title various times.  He was ultra ripped, super focused on boxing and all sports-related things, and he intimidated the heck out of me with just how gorgeous but down-to-Earth he was.

He was all about his sports and so were his buddies.  He loved his long bike tours where he'd ride all night and sleep all day.  A girlfriend never fit his lifestyle because no one could keep up with him or keep his attention.
And then he met me.
... and I've been trying ever since to turn the tables around and intimidate him.
When we first started dating, I was always curious if people looked at us and thought "why is that guy with her?"  I know looks aren't everything but it was obvious that Snickers was a sports fanatic and well, his body was ripped because of it.  His charm was what won me over but it was his looks that first grabbed my attention.  It's not that I want to turn the question into "why is that girl with him" but I definitely want to put myself up to par with him.
