As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Good Cheer and Potatoes for All

Started my work day off with a special gift from my first member of the day, Mr. Mini Snowman, and the ever so festive looking Pyen Chi.  Surprisingly enough, if I distracted her enough by talking to her or getting her to follow me, her reindeer hat stayed on.
We've been telling members that this weekend "Santa is going to puke at Hulk's" but really it's going to be Snickers and I dressing up Hulk in the holiday spirit.  Today I spent time trying to design and make paper snowflakes, a task that definitely seemed easier when I was a kid.
Pyen Chi didn't exactly help me out with them, as you can see by her totally passed out on the couch.
Our much anticipated delivery of sweet potatoes arrived today and they really couldn't have come at a more perfect time.  The club was buzzing with Hulkies hulking it out with training so, while they trained, I cooked up some potatoes.
The energy of a busy club is so contagious so
"A ROUND OF POTATOES FOR EVERYONE" I yelled out.
