As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Working Out with my Four-Legged Lady

After a full dose of brotherly love with the ever-so-cute, super energetic K-Bere Brothers, it was off to work for me.

My girl Pyen Chi was waiting for me at Hulk's where she's been our live-in temp security dog.
Pyen Chi's breed is that of a working dog but I didn't really have any work-work for her to do so I had fun getting her to work-out with me.
... show-off.
All work (out) and no play makes for a very tired little lady.
Caught her sleeping on the job, though she claims she was just "exercising her eyelids".
Here she was exercising her "freedom of speech" but from her backside, woozers.  I'm all for supporting my lovely lady and having her back but when her back is in-your-face, anything-but-lovely, I have to tell her she's wrong.  Note the needed protection on my nose... hahaha.
