As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Love Actually

Love IS all around, you just have to open your eyes.
Love is yesterday's new four-legged friend running to greet me as I walked to work.
Love is me saying happy Valentine's day to the pesky parkers and trying to joke the situation off with a little warning from Cupid.
I even got some love from the boys in blue -- 4 of Cheonan's firemen stopped by to check a building out and then stayed to help me move that massive concrete-filled barrel in our parking lot.
Love is in giving back to those who give you so much.
Today I made little Valentine's Day cards and attached one of my favourite chocolates to each.  Then I had a lot of fun handing them out to our members and random visitors.
Love is in the warmth and happiness you get in return.
I was surprised with various delish gifts, hugs and lots of sarcastic, silly joking around.
Love IS all around, you just have to be open to accept it, recognise it and enjoy it.
