As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Afternoon Bliss and Late Evening Hard Times

This is how I started work today, arriving to this little pretty girl waiting outside our Hulk doors -- it's Miss. Belfort!!!
Spent some time sitting outside with her.  She's yet to actually come into Hulk's but with the warming of the weather we've been leaving our front doors open, so she's welcome to come in.  Instead, she sits at the front entrance and lays on our steps.
And this is how I ended my work day, busting the butts of a sushi restaurant  in Asan whose owner has signed himself up along with two of his sushi chefs and one waiter.  I guess too many of them have been enjoying the perks of the job and now it's my job to get them back into shape.
They close their restaurant up for the day and then come to train at Hulk's, which means they arrive after 11pm and usually don't finish till about 12:30am.  I'm ok doing the overtime if they're committed.
