As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Not a Fan of Subway's Overdose of Bread

We decided to check out what all the hype is -- Subway Sandwiches.  It has come to Cheonan.  And while the mast majority of foreigners here are all too excited about it, Snickers and the rest of my friends (Korean) didn't understand all the hype around the overly doughy, overly expensive sandwiches that really didn't have any special veggies beyond the basics and jalapeno peppers.  I think it's all hype too, I mean I can make a hell of a lot healthier sandwich for probably half the price... and surely half the calories and half the bread too!!!
I tried my best to buy a healthy subway so I went with a half whole wheat sub, skipped getting any meat, loaded it with only veggies, got a squirt of mustard, and then tossed the top half of the bun, partly so I could actually taste the veggies and not just all bun.  It lacked in protein just as much as my pocket then lacked in cash afterwards.
Now THIS is worth buying -- holy delish chickens!!!
We ended up getting three full rotisserie chickens for a late night, surprise chicken party.
