As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Training Hard seems to be the Understatement this Week

While Snickers may look super adorable sitting on that massive truck tire, training one of our youngest Hulkies, he's not so cute when he's yelling at us more serious members training.
Here he is training me.  He had made me use the lace-up Adidas gloves which means I can't put them on or take them off someone helping.  So when I want to stop hitting the sandbag and move on to another part of my training, I have to ask Snickers to help me take them off.  Sometimes he doesn't though; he usually makes me do some more rounds on the sandbag.
As a result of the strenuous training, here I am... can you see me?
Hint:  look by the two sofas.  Yup, that's me, passed out from training.
