As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Unexpected Encouraging Visitors

Note the time, 8:56pm, and note the four-legged cutie that is peaking around the juice bar corner.
While jogging over to Hulk's, this little one crossed my path about half a kilometer away from the Hulk's and then she took it upon herself to walk me to the club.  I gave her a little hug (our first hug), kissed her on the nose (our first kiss) and thought she'd go on her way.  Apparently not.
Tonight marked the first time Belfort has ever ventured past our club front doors and she was overly curious.
Note the time here, 8:10pm, fifteen minutes after I arrived at Hulk's my main sponsor drives by and notes the club lights are on.  He then stops his car in the middle of the street and runs into Hulk's.
And he wasn't the only one who randomly dropped by Hulk's tonight.
