As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kids May be Young but They're Packed Full of Fun

LOOK CAREFULLY TO SEE WHAT MAKES THIS PIC SO AWESOME...
Nothing is quite like the excitement and giggles many of our Hulkies show when they put on a pair of boxing gloves for the very first time.  Apparently these two couldn't wait to hit the sandbags and instead started to hit each other in the glove room.  We let them go about it for a good 5 minutes simply because we couldn't stop laughing.  It was just too adorably funny.
And speaking of adorably funny, these two mini-Hulkies.  They killed the workout I gave them today so I rewarded them with a Hulk Smash protein shake that was packed with delish fruit.
My protein shakes bring all the Hulkies to the bar... hahaha.
We were on a mini-Hulkie overdose today and it was amazing.  The young ones always bring such a strong dose of positive energy and good vibes.
One of my mini-Hulkies who oozes with cuteness is this particular one in the white tank top.
He's always seeing me do flips on the gymnastic rings but his fear of them has always stopped him.  Well, tonight he conquered his fear and viola... you couldn't get that kid off of them!!!
All work and no play makes for a very boring day and for the mini-Hulkies we really try to keep it fun.
We have them fooled.  They don't even know they're working out when they are... hahaha.
I must admit though, it's often quite a workout for Snickers and I to keep up with them.
Can you spot the odd one out, the "big kid"?!  Silly Snickers, swinging on the ropes.
