As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

My Day in Pictures

It was a long tiresome night with Pac being sick so the early morning consisted of us having go to the vet.
Turns out he had a reaction to the new food we've started feeding our four-legged babies so he had to get medicine.  Back to the old food it is, a difference of $50 a bag, ouch.
They're our babies though and they're the best so it's only fitting we give them the best.

So with his meds and new food, Pac was a very happy four-legged boy on route back home.
And then it was lights out.  The visit to the vet's proved to be too energy-draining for him.
In the afternoon, our buddy from Rocky's Boxing in Seoul had a match.  It ended in a draw and though he was really upset that it wasn't a clean win, props to him for fighting super hard and giving it his all.  Yesterday he had weigh-in and failed to meet weigh-in by about 100 grams so he had to wear 10oz gloves for his fight while his opponent got to wear the standard norm 8oz.

Later in the evening I headed to Hulk's for some training.  I had text messages many of our members, noting that we'd be open for Free Train tonight, so several of them joined us.
My mission tonight, out round the guys on the sandbag and that's exactly what I did.  I out round both WOW and Snickers, even after they had switched the round bell from 2 minutes to 3 minutes.
My arms.... ya... they're dead.

We train hard and eat hard too, if that makes sense.
Sunday night is usually our Hulk family dinner out and tonight we brought one of our amateur boxers along.  He's a young boxer who's extremely dedicated to his training so tonight we discussed with him how we want to switch his training around and possibly turn him pro in the future.
