As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Nothing Short of a Terrific Tuesday

My protein shakes bring all the boys to the juice bar... hahaha.
Chillaxin' before the rush of members with Panty Boy Jr. and Snickers -- love these guys.
I love these guys too, especially the little one beside me.  He's just too hilarious and he totally gets my sarcastic humour and silliness at the club.
Not sure if I'm loving these two scenes -- Snickers hot pants revealing his awesome legs or all that bread on our juice bar counter.  Snickers' legs were what initially caught my attention back in the day and bread is my nemesis.  Between you and me, I think WOW throwing a surprise bread party for me was his attempt at saying sorry for not running the upcoming half marathon with me... hahaha.
And I definitely love, love, LOVE this scene -- hulked out Hulkies.
I had the pleasure of giving these guys their first Hulk's Boxing workout and at the end of it only I was the one with smiles and energy to spare.  They were TKO.
After days like today, when everything goes awesome and wonderful extra things happen so generously, I definitely miss my friends and family back in Canada.  I had one of two weekly cheat treats today so I sat there with my misspelled Toronto plate and Niagara Falls cup.
By the way, my cheat treat consisted of two peanut butter cookies and they were, for the record, generously made.  Seriously genius.  The brainier behind these thought of coating the top with corn flake cereal, so you had the gooey of the peanut butter, the softness of the cookie but also the crunch of the cereal.
