As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I Started and Ended my Day with a Food Party

This was how my day started off, trying to cook something for my Sunday Morning Breakfast Club meeting.
I don't yet have a real stove top to cook on so the camping gas range had to do.
I made protein-packed cinnamon banana pancakes and topped them with some of our in-club homemade peanut butter.  I love my pancakes but must admit I am very much in love with the quiche that the hostess always makes.  Today she completely spoiled us and made two quiches.
As for the two little legs waiting under the table, that's the beautiful and oh so sweet Roux.

After a couple of hours of cleaning at our old apartment we came back... back home.
I slipped into some comfortable clothes and apparently so did Snickers.  He loves his new zebra pants.
Today is our day off but that really meant nothing.
We cleaned up a bit and then got to work on covering up the glass wall of our bedroom.
Thanks to these three funny guys who have officially given my bedroom the much needed privacy it needed.
I rewarded them with some coffee.
My afternoon nap was interrupted by the some very familiar voices.
The enivitable has happened, our new home has ultimately become the big hotspot among friends.
They played pool at Hulk's while Snickers, WOW and I did our boxing, and then we headed out together for a super delish post training meal of meat and veggies.  Much love to my K-Crew for dinner.
Here, let me introduce some of them to you...
Of course you know Snickers, then there's King Kong and Sam-Sam...
Oban (also known as Obama) and Guy Smiley.
(Guy Smiley isn't really smiley here, but he is super smiley and he giggles like a little girl).
