Forget the goat for a second, I had an AMAZING day date today with a married man. OK, so the married man was my married man but it still was an AMAZING day date, and yes all caps are definitely appropriate here because of just how AMAZING it was.
Back on Children's Day Snickers took me out to the rail bikes but it being a holiday, and a holiday directed towards children for that matter, the place was overly packed. Today we went back. Snickers woke me up today at the brutal hour of 9am. And I say brutal hour here because we had actually gone to bed at 5am so yes, waking up four hours later to do anything but roll over and go back to sleep is brutal. So with only 4 hours of sleep, I managed to roll out of bed and function enough to get dressed and get in the car. We packed a picnic lunch and, with coffee in hand, we were off to the rail bike place.
It was so cool, seriously so cool.
I don't know if it was my pure fascination with the concept of the rail bikes, the great morning leg workout it proved to be, the gorgeous countryside scenery, the pure lack of sleep, or maybe the extra shot of caffeine in my cappuccino but boy was I super overly giddy. Personally I think it was a mixture of all of the above. I must have said "this is so cool" about a zillion trillion times and had a smile that stretched from ear to ear. I sang songs, said hi to all the random farmers our rail bike passed by, waved to the cars and the road we passed by and even wished their drivers a good day at work. I seriously was so strangely overly happy.
After our rail bike around the countryside, we had a very delish picnic lunch and then headed to WOW Motors to meet this notorious baby goat that Mouse Doctor got the other day.
I'm jealous, I really am and now I'm in love with this little pee master mini goat that tries to eat my hair. But you know what they say, be careful for what you wish for! I goat-sat Mouse Doctor's adorable little goat, Unicorn, for the day and he was only supposed to stay JUST the day.
He's still at Hulk's.
Unicorn was so much fun to have at Hulk's and I seriously couldn't kiss him enough, hold him enough, or stare at him enough but I did always say I wanted a pet goat and, well, him STILL being at Hulk's makes me about nervous. I say this because if you recall, my pup Pacquiao was originally Mouse Doctor's. His dog had pups and Pacquiao was one of them. When he was born he had some kind of defect on one of his front paws so I took him to the vet. The plan was to nurse him back to health at my house and then either give him back to Mouse Doctor or give him to K-Gere (my FIL) but he never did leave. A year later and Pac is still at my house.
I want a goat but not right now, honestly and seriously. With us moving into Hulk's this weekend, having to resituate all our stuff and adapt both the club, our pups and our lifestyle to this change, I really can't take on more.
Unicorn leaves tomorrow, that's the plan.
