As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Some Four-Legged Help

With us moving in just a few days, instead of cleaning up my closet I decided to clean OUT my closet.
Honestly, I think I threw out about 70% of my clothes and, you know what, it felt sooooo good.
No more teaching, no more teaching books and definitely no more teacher looks!!!
After a full day of cleaning out my clothes and the house, I then headed to work.
Today Balboa returned to work and he was all so overly happy to be back.
...and many members were all so overly happy to have him back.
It was a first meet for some Hulkies but it was love at first sight for some of them.
Balboa may be a mini devil at home but he's absolutely an angel at Hulk's -- he loves everyone!!!
But there are two particular Hulkies Balboa is in love with [see the above two pictures].
As for Pyen Chi, because you know I can't go a day without some Pyen Chi love, I put on a pair of my old pants.  I cut a whole for her tail.  I didn't think she'd even let me put them on but, as it turns out, the problem was with her letting me take them off... hahaha.
