As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Day Off Hulk's but a Day On House Work... Wednesday, May 21

We're moving Friday... I think... maybe Saturday.

The tentative plan right now is to have the moving company come late Friday night.  I'll be managing Hulk's by myself so Snickers will be free to delegate the work for the moving crew.  It'll take about three hours for them to pack up our house and drop it all off at Hulk's so the idea is to get them to do it by Hulk's closing. This way we'll avoid blocking the traffic that comes with living smack dab downtown and having a club located on the corner of two very narrow streets.

While Snickers and the moving crew are packing our apartment stuff, I'll start moving our office to the side area, our former lounge area.  Once all the packed stuff arrives Hulk's, the idea is to immediately start rearranging and setting up our new living corridors.

I plan on not sleeping Friday night.

I've very much one of those people who once they start a project, they like to continue until they're finished.  Well, the same is true with moving.  There's going to be much change at Hulk's and I think I'm most upset about losing my office because I fought so hard to save it from becoming a girls-only change room.  Lots of change... lots and lots of change.  Hulk's is about to get rearranged and changed and I'm both as excited as I am rather sentimental about the giving up of my apartment.
