As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to Work and Back to Balboa Photo Bombing my Pics

Despite a total lack of sleep and the pure desire to let my workaholic ways take over and continue renovations, I had pinky-swore a friend I'd show up to today's breakfast meeting so that's exactly what I did.
And then I resumed our renovations at Hulk's.
Balboa seems to think he's helping me here and perhaps many people seeing this picture may think so too.
But where was he when I had the "fun" task of dealing with the juice bar?!  Exactly.
But he was all there when I wanted to take pictures of already-renovated areas... hahaha
Thanks to Pyen Chi and Pac here for offering encouraging hugs and kisses as we slaved away.
No thanks to Balboa here for sleeping through most of out night renos... hahaha.  Ah Bal, I love you.
