Getting in Some Cooking Time and Gift Time too, Apparently

Managed to get in some food prep time on my "day off".

Here I am preparing some quiche... holy delish!!!

Boxing Baby made a return appearance today.  He even tried his skills at padwork.

Sure he leaves himself totally open with his lack of gaurd but he just also learned how to walk not to long ago so ease up on the kid.  He's doing his best, throwing jabs and even taking on much bigger opponents.  Tonight he totally left hooked his mother in her tush.

Was pleasantly surprised with a couple of surprises tonight thanks to some very generous Hulkies.

Scored a pink Instax Mini 8 Polariod camera.  It's super girly looking, perhaps that's a hint to me, but I anticipate a lot of fun with this once I load it up with some film!!!

Another Hulkie made us a small cabinet as a house warming gift.  And when I write "made" here I mean this person did ALL the handy man craftmanship with making it, starting with some rough pieces of wood, cutting, sanding, you-name-it, and then finishing with this!!!

The small cabinet will go in our bedroom but this late night gift will go in my belly -- raw beef bibimbop (mixed veggies) with a tofu soup.  Holy yummy, yummy in my tummy!!!

... Oh, and I scored two deoderants today which, in the world of kimchi, is a very wonderful thing because they're hard to find so a hookup is needed.  Crest toothpaste is my next potential hookup desire.  I'm down to my last tube... and it's been cut open... and scrapped... and today licked.
