As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Snapshots of Today

I've become one of those girls who wears heels while grocery shopping, it's true.  Sometimes I just really miss dressing up and yes, heels makes me feel dressed up.
I've also become one of those people who rather buy a special toy for my dog than something for myself.  I bought this Bentoball.  They say it's ALMOST indestructible but I wonder if it's Pyen Chi-proof!!!
Snickers and his little niece, walking through the park.
Snickers is all about his little nieces and nephews but his kind of fun with them consists of doing strange things, like pretending to drop them and then nibbling on their faces.  As strange as such play sounds, these kids are even stranger in that they totally love his strange play... hahaha.  You know you're related when...
Waking up after nap time at Mama Kim's house.
I think Mama Kim likes the fact that I have a healthy appetite because she always ends up cooking me a meal when I visit.  She's caught on that 9 out of 10 times I will stay if she bribes me with food.
I put a new light in our office today so it made working on the books late at night a little bit more relaxing.
