Today was definitely one of those "if it requires a bra and pants I'm not participating" kind of days. I woke up around noon but didn't actually get out of bed until 5pm. I also didn't go to bed till about 5am so I vouch I have every right to sleep way beyond what's considered "normal".
Not much to say about today -- I woke up, rolled over, went back to bed, and then surely rolled over a couple more dozen times. Yesterday was way too productive to be considered my day off or a holiday for that matter so the plan for today was to do absolutely nothing... n-o-t-h-i-n-g.
The dogs reined the club today while Snickers and I slept.
I can't it wasn't entirely unproductive, we did after all go on an ice cream hunt at about 8pm but I did stick to my "if it requires a bra and pants I'm not participating" mentality I woke up with today. So, on that note, I put a long t-shirt over my tank top and leggings and then ventured outside with Snickers. As for our ice cream hunt, there's a particular ice cream cone I like and with it being my cheat meal tonight I wanted to eat it. We searched it out in five different stores before we both agreed it'd for sure be at this one particular shop.
It wasn't there, but what was there, there before my squinty little brown eyes in an over sized freezer, was a massive stash of ice cream. And as if the massive stash wasn't massive enough to convince Snickers to dive his ice cream monster hands into it, on the freezer lid it read "70% off". Instantly Snickers slid open the lid and drove in, two hands and two arms all at once. We bought $21 worth of ice cream which, for those of you who already know how cheap Korean ice cream is, is a lot. Throw in the 70% and ya, it's more than just a lot. We now officially have our own baby massive stash of ice cream at Hulk's. Great, just what I needed, the constant taunting of an excessive large gang of ice creams looking at me whenever I have to open the freezer door.
May the force be with me. I will resist.
