As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Thunder Man, Chicken Play and Watermelon = Today at Hulk's

It was another packed day at Hulk's, even Thunder Man showed up.
Ok, so it was really Boxing Baby with a cap on... hahaha.
Last night's new members showed up and they entertained me by stepping in the ring.
They didn't exactly spar like you'd expect people at a boxing club to do, instead they had a chicken fight.
Basically, you hold one leg and jump around on the other while trying to make the other "chickens" fall.
It's a children's game but it can actually get quite violent and very rowdy... like tonight.
With summer here so starts our random fruit parties.  Tonight we threw a watermelon party.
It was a late night watermelon party for 13 and it was a great way to
end the night of hard training with new Hulkies.
