As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Coach Lounging to Lakeside Lounging

Saturdays are very much our catch-up-on-much-needed-sleep days, well that and excessive lazy lounging and cuddling with our four-legged friends.
Note the change in shirt but not the change in extra cirricular activities... it's still Saturday so lounging continues.
Finally we got up and geared up for training -- Snickers with his short shorts or, as Koreans call them, hot pants, and me with my tank top and leggings.  Well, this isn't exactly what I wore training.  I did wear this but only under a long sleeve shirt and sweater.  Extra layers = extra intense and you know I'm all about training hardcore.  If I wanted to do an exercise that was easy I'd join yoga [inside pot shot here at someone].
After training hard we eat hard.
Tonight a good friend from out of town who used to live in town came to visit and treated us to meal out.
And what a treat it was... duck!!!
Our beautiful duck dinner was followed by some lakeside, patio sitting coffee with some additional friends.
When the guys headed out for a Sports Day, I decided to go back and have my own kind of Sports Day with a boxing friend of mine, well, two four-legged boys and one four-legged girl also joined in.
We ended up putting both the rowing machines by the TV and watching a movie while rowing... hahaha.
