As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ocean-Bound for Relaxing Giggles

This was exactly how I started my day -- flopped out on the couch with my four-legged friends by my side and Snickers struggling to get a spot.
The plan was to hit the ocean in the early morning but since that was a no-go we decided to head there to watch the sunset.  One of my favourite ocean side spots is just but a thirty minute ride away.
We walked around in the park, watched all the parents and their kids riding on the rental electric four-wheelers and scooters, and just relaxed.

Took a romantic walk on the boardwalk.
This wasn't exactly a romantic part of our walk but it definitely was a very amusing part.
Leave it to Snickers to want to most randomly play with life saver thingy-a-ma-bob.
