As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunday, Another Day for Business

Despite the coffee and beautiful view, we both look a bit intense and serious here... because we were.
Business meeting on the terrace overlooking the lake.
It may be Sunday, a day of rest, but there is no rest for the wicked.
After our business meeting, it was back to the club.
Today we had our first ever sparring match... together.  It was Snickers vs me, four rounds.
...and then it was back to more work, more renovations.
With one of the treadmills up and running, Snickers tried to get the second one going.
Some of the guys who came by Hulk's tonight for free train tried to help out but no such luck.
This is how I train these days -- either in long layers or wearing what appears to be a plastic bag.
To say I was sweaty here from training would be an understatement.
I was soaked and consequently all my clothes and hair was totally stuck to me.
Notice the terrace?!  We started our day off on it, in a business meeting, and then ended our evening with returning to it, for another business meeting.
