As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Working on Overdrive, from Start to Finish

Introducing the "testers" of my daily crossfit circuit class.
Everyday these Hulkies come early to train with the notion that them coming early means I personally train along side them all.  It also means they get to help test and tweak the day's crossfit class.
Today's class focused on legs and after my start-of-the-work-day testing and one minor revision,
this was the circuit that was set for the day.  It was a 16min circuit that was called "hell legs" by many.
This is me caught showing "tough love" because sometimes a little stick to the tush is all the extra motivation a person needs... well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Work after work because it just doesn't end.
Definitely had one of those "if I didn't live in the boxing club" moments where I knew the work I stayed up late to do would have just been set aside and dealt with the next day.  But nooooooo, we live at the boxing club -- we live where we work -- and, like my father always used to say, don't put for tomorrow what you can do today.  Consequently, two loads of club laundry was done with the last load being hung at 3am.
