As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Kitten-Induced Super Long Day

The little one goes to the vet for a check up and it wasn't good.  She weighed in at just a bit over 500 grams and recieved a bad bill of health so she'll be living at the vet until, well, until she joins Mi Nam and my mom.
Today we were pleasantly visited by these two men who represent a boxing equipment manufacturer in Pakistan.  Snickers was impressed by their awesome Korean language skills and I was impressed by their equipment printing options.
A surprise gift of handwraps and sandbag gloves... really?!  Yes, really.
Ended work with a late night meal out with Snickers and one of our Hulkies at our sponsor's restaurant.
Note the time, 2:50am, and not there are two men behind me -- Snickers and a Hulkie.
I had a pretty sleepless night last night so by the time 3:15am came around I was well beyond exhausted so I left the two men to do the club laundry.  Thanks guys.
