As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Packed Day with a Slice of Heaven

Today we headed off to this crocodile park.
And yes, there were crocodiles.
Actually, there were crocodiles almost everywhere!!!
There were even crocodiles with people's heads in their mouths... hahaha.
OK, so it was just one person's head and he was the trainer working the performance.
None the less, it was still in a croc's mouth!
Located all around the park were these massive cages with other animals in them, like huge birds.
And check out those catfish.  They averaged about four feet in length!!!
The park was very pretty, not like your typical zoo with excessive cages.
This beauty caught my eye.  She's sitting there waiting for anyone who wants to take a picture with her.  The man here, sitting on the ground, he's her trainer.  He asked me if I wanted to pay to have my picture taken with her and I said no thank you.  But I told him I'd give him a tip if he were to pet her head, so that's what he did.  She acted quite comfortable with him; it was nice to see.
This beautiful tiger really captured my attention.  I stood there watching him sleep and then he just opened his eyes and looked straight at me.  He was so incredibly beautiful, so majestic.
My little pony... hahaha.  This little one was most randomly eating grass.
Only can a super tiny pony make eating grass look so insanely adorable!!!
I liked the giraffes too.  They were pretty cool.
...that is until this one decided it liked my body lotion and licked me!!!

But my favourite among all the animals was this gentle giant.
I had seen her while I was watching the live croc show; her head peered over the show place wall.
I fed her bananas and she let me pet her trunk.  She also pulled on my hand too, making me step closer to her, and that was so cool,
Later in the day it was back to the boxing club for training (and for another pic for my sponsor).
I trained today with the other coach at the club, Coach Jack.  He didn't speak much but instead kept on throwing the pads in my face and calling out random punches.
After a packed day, I was brought to the mall food court where the guys ate dinner.
The food court overlooked this... this to me was a slice of Heaven.
After they ate, they allowed me to go spend my money on some much needed healthy food.
