As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Another Fabulous Friday

I've accepted it... finally.  All my plants are dead.  And this is yet another reason why I don't have a kid, because I can't even look after plants!  Well, today I finally threw out the dead plants and then I decided to grow my own flowers... cross your fingers (and toes).  Let's see how this works out.
Now my side office display shelf looks refreshed and so much nicer because you know how "pretty" plotted dead plants can look... hahaha.
This moment right here, this moment that happened today, probably one of the COOLEST moments I've had here at Hulk's and my smile here doesn't even begin to capture how excited I was.
I got a surprise visit from a long time friend.... a totally unexpected, never thought possible visit!!!
You can read all about my special visit in my posting below but here's another exciting thing that happened today -- matching dog collars came for Pacquiao and his father Baekguum.
Pacquiao was quite excited about his collar and apparently so were the others too... hahaha.
Pyen Chi wanted to take an extra careful look at it, check to see if it was up to "K-Bere" standards.
Awww... just look at him.  The studded metal collar is supposed to make him look tough and warn off people from trying to pet him but it just makes him look so handsome.
Later after work I headed out to Mouse Doctor's house to give Baekguum his matching collar.
Now it's like father like son with their matching studded, tough boy collars... hahaha.  Love these guys.
