As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicking Off another Week in High Gear

Special delivery today for a special little four-legged boy -- a down filled winter jacket.
Even I don't have a winter coat like this ultra warm, super cute one!

The winter coat was a huge hit with everyone at Hulk's but it was an exceptionally huge hit with Balboa who stayed nice and toasty warm in it all day and then cried when I tried to take it off at bed time.
It was a Monday today and, based on just how busy we were, it was a typical start to a new work week.
We were busting at the seems with Hulkies hulking it out.
Snickers even got into the ring for a spur-of-the-moment sparring challenge.
At was a good match too though I must note that I cheered for both opponents.
Of course I cheered for Snickers, he sports such labels in my life like husband, best friend, business partner, and coach.  However, I also cheered for his opponent because he's one of our older members and you know I'm all about giving extra props to those who break down age stereotypes!!!
