As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Always Sweat, Always Food and Always Sweet

There is always sweat dripping on the floors because there are always Hulkies hulking out.
We train hard.
But we train as hard as we eat and we love our food as much as we love our training.
What you're looking at is dduk, basically rice that has been hammered down to form this sticky stick.
Well, put this dukk on a metal stick, grill it in our coal heater and wow... what you're looking at is four of us holding magic sticks.  I don't believe in magic but woozers, this is pretty delish!!!
But the food never just stops at just one snack.
Here are some Hulkies enjoying a "friendly bribe" of chicken.
"If you feed them, they will come", and they will help too... hahaha.
Thanks to all our Hulkies who stayed well beyond the club hours to help out tonight.
OK, so perhaps our fireplace isn't quite done just yet but I've been dreading and stressing over this task all week!!!  I seriously wouldn't have been able to do it without their help, seriously.  That gray brick work on what was once ugly brown boxes is just two massive stickers -- holy difficult!
Nothing is too hard with our Hulkies though!!!
