As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Don't Ask me How I Feel, Ask me How I Survived Another Saturday

Thanks for the random question but let's wait till after my run to answer that question.
Can't say I was feeling to happy about the random river rocks I had to jump over to continue my running.
I crossed the river SIX TIMES today not because I wanted to but because it was either cross the river or run out of path and run in the bush.
So ask me now, how do I feel... I feel, hmmm, not as happy as I thought I would be for completing such a distance.  It would have been different if I had run this with Rocket.  Missed our random "niccccce" high fives and knowing someone else was battling through the brutal distance with me.

Turns out my main sponsor wasn't so impressed with me pulling a stunt like that, loading up all the kilometres I was supposed to run this week and doing most of them today.
And leave it to my Hulkies to insist that if I can do such a distance in one day that I must be able to do crossfit too.  Ended up doing the Crossfit Challenger class with them... brutal.
Here's where training with some awesome people definitely helped to push me through the workout.
And after a long day of excessive training, what better way to "relax" than randomly head out to a closed water park?!  Ya, don't ask... hahaha.
Finally got to kick back and relax -- late night spontaneous sausage party with some Hulkies.
