As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From That to This to What Next?!

It's hard to believe that not so long ago this was the mess we were working with -- garbage and glass everywhere and poop-littered floors.  It took a lot of work and a lot of people to help make it what it now is.
Hulk's never was intended to be a home for us, instead it was simply supposed to be our dream in the physical form.  Hulk's is definitely made of love and dreams, not only our dreams but the dreams of our families for us to succeed and do what we love.
And in succeeding with investing our love in our dream, into Hulk's, we decided to take it on as our new home.  It's now where I work, workout, play, and sleep, and I share it with my four-legged family members too.
