As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Visiting a Four-Legged Gentle Giant

The elevator in what appears to be in the middle of nowhere, that's where we went today.
Located by the elevator company is the home of one of Chungchungnam-Do's most famous dog breeders.
He houses three dogs -- 2 Russian Ovcharkas and one Tibetan Mastiff.
Here is Snickers with one of the Ovcharkas.  It's a male that weighs +90kgs but don't let his size get you scared.  He's very approachable.
The breeder's male Tibetan Mastif, Khan, is what has made him notoriously known however.
Khan weighs over 80kgs and, though he's showing his teeth here, he is a gentle giant.

Here are two pictures from when Pyen Chi stayed with Khan, to let you see just how much bigger he is.
And check out his mane... holy gorgeous guy!

OK, now back to today's pictures...

After a visit with Khan, we headed to check out a new coffee shop.
The coffee shop is adjacent an art gallery so there's statues outside and beautiful grounds.
We didn't really care so much for the statues though.  This statue just happened to get caught in our picture.
Coffee and cookies on a beautiful brisk Sunday afternoon, very sweet.
Coffee and cookies while we talked about business, boxing and Khan.
We love our four-legged friends and we love our boxing, and our boxing has made it possible for our four-legged friends to live a comfortable and much-loved life.
They've got the freedom to play in a large boxing club without a worry in the world and now we're contemplating if we should extend this kind of life to another four-legged friend.
