As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicking off the Weekend on a Chilly, Sore Note

The frowning of her brows definitely say it all.  We anticipated today's run to be a rough one because of the cold.
Originally, our aim was 15kms but Rocket had noted that she would like to see if she could clock in 18kms.  We were successful at keeping our pacing under 6mins/km but we definitely kicked our own butts at making this happen.
An accidental pic of myself during running and a post run stretching picture, both ones of pain.
Rocket is rocking the pain in her facial expression where as me, I couldn't get up from my stretch.  My legs had totally started shaking.
Today's run scored one thumb down but we did it.

Then I spent pretty much the rest of the afternoon trying to warm up by the coal heater.
Balboa proved to be quite the cute snuggling buddy but he didn't really help to keep me warm.
Pacquiao passed right out and Pyen Chi, well, she stood gaurd and listened to me talk.
Thanks guys for keeping me company while the feeling returned to my toes and fingers.
