As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunday Never Seems to be a Day of Rest

Snow came in a plentiful amount today and the pups were all too interested in it, well, that and barking at the Pesky Parkers.  We don't care who parks in our lot on the weekend because we're closed but apparently Pyen Chi and Pacquiao care.
An early present from Santa came in a plentiful amount too.

One of our long time Hulkies spent most of the day with us, helping us with Santa's present.
He surprised us with a gift, a self-camera-picture-taking-thinga-ma-jiggy.
And as you can see, Snickers had fun playing with it but didn't quite get the point that you're suppose to hold the handle still and you're not suppose to show your hand holding the handle... hahaha.
Then it was dinner time.  We headed out for spicy meat... super delish.
We spent a good chunk of the later evening in bed, after all that's the only place in the club that has any kind of heat during non club hours.  Our new heating blanket is great but with Pacquiao curled up and passed out between us, our snuggling was limited and I was still cold.
This IS a treat!!! Snickers was a sweetie by pulling in Big Bertha into our room, so that we could at least heat the room up and not see our breath when we talk.
