As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Expected Many Days Together to a Possible Last

I took this picture last night, as I clicked onto a website link a friend had sent me.
Instantly this scene before me, these three pups sleeping, went from being super cute to suddenly very sad.
I smiled for the camera when Snickers snapped a picture of me after training.
Ferrari had distracted me during my training and scored an excess of hugs and kissed but today marked quite possibly and totally expecting it to be our last day together.
Ferrari was still here at the end of the day and Balboa was still just as curious about her as ever.  He follows her around like a shadow and then stands on his hind legs so that he can be as face-to-face as he can.
He looks spooked here but he's kind of playing hard to get.
He likes her and I think he's just trying to play hard to get... hahaha.
