As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Going Full Force from Morning to... Morning

The pre-long run, post-long run and the long run distance... this was my morning.
I always feel that after such a long run it really doesn't matter whether or not I do anything or nothing at all because I pumped out a 20km even before most of my friends even woke up.
After my long run, I had lunch, caught a quick nap, then downed some more coffee so that I could go grocery shopping and do errands before tonight's club wine party.
Here's a pic of our juice bar all loaded up with some of the goodies and then a pic of us, the host and hostess of what was about to be a very fun, very entertaining wine party with our Hulkies.
There ended up being only 8 of us in total as some of Hulkies are MIA this week (sick).
Regardless, what the small party lacked in attendance it most definitely made up for in conversation and giggles.
I sat on the one couch with some of my favourite female Hulkies.
And on the other couch, sat two reunited Hulkies -- Mouse Doctor and Cheetah Girl.
Thanks to Snickers for preparing all the sausages our crew then inhaled.
I may not miss the cold winter when it leaves but I think it's fair to say I'm not the only one who is going to miss the coal heater when we have to put it away.
Near the end of the party, when most had gone home, our four-legged friends came out to join the party (aka pick up any food scraps that were left on the floor...hahaha).
